School canteens are a place of fun and excitement. The space is defined by the red portal opening of the canteen service window  with the tree breaking through the pergola as to accent the entire space.

Stone seating has been created on the periphery for relaxing and catching up on the school gossip. The entrance of the canteen area is welcomed by a stepped platform.

None of the existing trees were cut during the construction process and were integrated within the design.
